Removing Application Instance

When removing an application instance, a Controller invokes the application configuration script with the remove argument before it removes the application files and deallocates resources used by it, as defined by the Specification in section 4.6.1. Configuration script actions. The Controller passes to the configuration script all application settings declared in metadata, except marked as installation-only, with the SETTINGS_<id> environment variables, as defined by the Specification in section 4.6.2.2. Settings.
